Safari in Southern Africa

Southern Africa is blessed with abundant wildlife and spectacular natural environments, the diversity of which ranges from savannah to dense forests each offering an abundant array of wildlife. It provides a great opportunity to view the Big 5 – Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard, as well as Cheetah, Giraffe, Hippo, Wild Dog and Hyena along with many other animals and birdlife.

Game Drives - The most amazing way to see, hear and experience the wonders of the African bush, With trained guides who will track and discover the secrets of the animal kingdom. Game drives take place in the very early morning or late evening as wildlife tends to take shelter from the harsh African sun during the day.

Tented Adventure Activity Camps - Purpose built in the heart of the African bush this base camp allows you a platform to offer a myriad of activities including kayaking, bird watching, game walks, photographic safaris, mountain biking and a unique health spa.

Wine Tasting - Wine tasting is an art. Wine connoisseurs follow some general guidelines when judging a wine. It's very easy to learn the techniques of wine tasting and most people can become excellent tasters with just a little practice and by following a few basic ground rules.

Wildlife Photographic Workshops - Taking great wildlife photos is not as easy at it looks. There is a lot of thought and time that goes into producing those great images that we see around us. Not only does one need creativity and technical knowledge but also a knowledge and understanding of one’s subject matter.

Participating in Conservation Research - On a scientific safari you can gain an insight into the magical world of conservation and wildlife rehabilitation by working closely with wildlife Veterinarians, wildlife science researchers, field officers and game rangers. A typical scientific safari example would be: tracking lion from the air in a micro-light aircraft, or monitoring wild dogs around their den or using telemetry to track your chosen species in the bush, the continuous beep from the tracking collar bringing you slowly closer... an exhilarating adventure that will remain with you for life!

Visits to local Communities & Villages - These tours give guests an authentic view into village life,  A possible visit to the local school or the Traditional Healer,  enjoy a meal prepared by one of the villagers – A truly rewarding experience.
